Man Stabbed To Death In West Haven: Police
The suspect was taken into custody, according to police.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A man was stabbed to death in an apparent domestic violence incident in West Haven on Sunday, according to police.
Police responded around 5:20 p.m. on July 19 to the 200 block of Meadowbrook Court on the report of a possible stabbing, according to Sgt. Scott Allard.
Allard said officers immediately began lifesaving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived.

The complainant advised officers at the scene that the suspect was still inside the apartment, according to Allard.
Allard said officers entered the apartment and found an adult male believed to be the suspect. The man was taken into custody without incident, according to Allard.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to Allard.
West Haven detectives responded to the scene and took control of the investigation, according to Allard.
“At this time, the incident appears to be isolated as it has been preliminarily identified as a family violence in nature and there is no active threat to the public,” Allard said in an email on Monday morning. “This remains an active and ongoing investigation. No additional information is available for release at this time.”
