Man Threatens Ex-Girlfriend with Knife, Steals Car: West Haven Police

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Police are actively looking for a man accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend with a knife and stealing her car during a domestic dispute late Tuesday night.

Police responded to the area of Second Avenue and Elm Street on the report of a domestic dispute.

The victim told police her ex-boyfriend, armed with a knife, entered her vehicle and wanted her drive. She escaped the vehicle and called 911, according to police.

Police are actively looking for Brain Heyward, 38, who was last seen in a gray 2014 Toyota Camry with Connecticut registration OAJ-DT0. All information can be confidential.
