Woman Seriously Injured After Shooting In West Haven: Police
Police are asking for help with finding a man they say shot the woman in a parking lot.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A woman was seriously injured after being shot in a parking lot during a domestic violence incident in West Haven, police said in an update Tuesday night. Police are asking for help with finding Nathan Collins, who they say shot the woman with a handgun on Monday.
The incident occurred in a West Haven parking lot where Collins was reported to have fired the gun several times in the direction of the victim, striking her once and causing serious injury, according to Sgt. Charles Young.
Collins, 29, is wanted by police and described as a white man about 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. Police don't know what vehicle Collins may be driving but said all of his last known addresses are all in West Haven.

“As the whereabouts of the weapon used in this crime is unknown at this time, please call police immediately if Collins is seen/located and do not approach Collins or attempt to detain him,” Young said in a news release.
