Police are investigating after repeated reports of two men yelling obscenities at pedestrians and one instance of them approaching children.

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Police are adding an extra police presence in the city’s West Shore area after repeated reports of men in a pickup truck yelling obscenities at pedestrians and in one incident, slowly approaching children and asking if they want candy before driving off.
Police say three incidents have occurred so far in the last few afternoons between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the South Street area.
The reports had similar descriptions of a gray pickup truck occupied by two Hispanic males approximately 25-35 years of age, both having short dark hair, according to police.
