ND’s Weber Collects School Supplies For Westies On Wheels

Westies on Wheels is a community organization that travels to city neighborhoods distributing information and free school supplies.

WEST HAVEN, CT — (Pictured): Incoming Notre Dame High School senior Jack Weber on Monday presents West Haven High School Principal Dana Paredes with a backpack and more than two dozen bags and bins of back-to-school supplies he collected for the Westies on Wheels program.

Weber, of Milford, a member of Notre Dame of West Haven’s varsity baseball team, collected more than $1,200 of supplies donated by area families for the program, including spiral notebooks, pocket folders, pencil cases, scissors, glue sticks, 12-inch rulers, highlighters, washable markers, 1-to-3-inch binders, 24-count crayons, tissues and hand sanitizer.
