New Blight Enforcement Effort Announced In West Haven

The newly created task force is composed of the mayor's, blight and corporation counsel's offices and several city departments.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Mayor Dorinda Borer and members of the city’s Blight Enforcement Task Force held a news conference in the Harriet C. North Community Room of City Hall on Wednesday to herald a new campaign to fight blight in West Haven.

The announcement featured remarks by Borer, who was flanked by more than a dozen task force members, including city, police and fire officials.

The newly created task force is composed of the mayor’s, blight and corporation counsel’s offices and the Police, Fire, Public Works, Building, Zoning Enforcement and Health departments.
