The proposed New England Brewing Co. brewery in West Haven took another step closer to becoming a reality with the approved lease agreement.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The proposed New England Brewing Co. brewery in West Haven took another step closer to becoming a reality following the unanimous approval of a lease agreement by the City Council at a special meeting on Wednesday night.

After meeting in executive session for two hours, the council approved Mayor Nancy Rossi entering into a lease agreement with the developer with several new conditions that weren’t part of the original proposed lease agreement, according to the New Haven Register.

The conditions include replacing a plan to use a pump station’s parking lot to meet the required amount of parking with a plan for the city to provide 30 parking stickers to the brewery for street parking, the New Haven Register reported.
