New Executive Director Appointed At WHEAT Of West Haven

The non-profit organization announced the appointment on Monday.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Sara Hannafin has been appointed as the new executive director of WHEAT (West Haven Emergency Assistance Task Force), the non-profit organization announced Monday.

“Sara brings a strong commitment to community service, collaborative leadership, and helping our neighbors in need,” a post on WHEAT’s Facebook page reads. “She will lead WHEAT’s daily operations, volunteer programs, fundraising efforts, and partnerships throughout the West Haven community.

“For more than 50 years, WHEAT has been a vital resource for local families, providing food and emergency assistance. Today, WHEAT serves approximately 1,200 families each month through our food pantry and community outreach programs.”
