Obituary: Christian T. Holmes, 51, Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From Porto Funeral Home): Christian T. Holmes, 51, of West Haven, beloved husband of Bridget Carofano passed away on November 21, 2023 with his family by his side at Yale New Haven Hospital.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Bridget Carofano and his two daughters Grace and Sarah Holmes, both of Marblehead, MA.

Christian was born in New Haven on July 14, 1972 son of Catherine Tomek of Clinton and the late Robert Holmes. Stepson of Warren Tomek. Brother of Suzanne (Richard) Kos of Madison and his twin brother Justin Holmes of East Haven. Brother-in-law of Mary Kate Carofano and her wife Karen Garafalo of West Haven. Son-in-law of Geraldine Peddle of West Haven and Jule Carofano of Clermont, FL; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

His favorite hobbies included flying his drone, playing video games with his brother, building model planes, taking trips to Walt Disney World with his family and spending time with his dogs.

Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven, SATURDAY afternoon, December 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call SATURDAY morning from 11 a.m. until time of service.
