Obituary: David B. Lockhart, 60, Of West Haven
After serving his country in the U.S. Army, he was involved in many different political and social initiatives in West Haven.
WEST HAVEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): David Bruce Lockhart, son of the late Robert Bruce Lockhart Jr. and Barbara Ann Jones Lockhart, passed away August 4, 2020 after battling with multiple illnesses. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1960, the youngest of three children, David is survived by his two sisters, Nancy and Linda Lockhart, Auntie Sue Burns and husband Joseph, Uncle Bob Jones and wife Jennifer, along with many cousins and friends.
David was a long-term resident of West Haven, after serving his country in the U.S. Army. During his time in West Haven, he had been involved in many different political and social initiatives: Disabled Veterans, Habitat for Humanity, national and local political campaigns and Connecticut Special Olympics.
A private family gathering and celebration of life is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory can be sent to Disabled Veterans of America, www.ihelpveterans.org.
