Obituary: Douglas Joseph Turcotte Jr., 63, Of West Haven
Douglas worked as a mechanic for the VA Hospital of West Haven for many years. He sang opera for several years and will be greatly missed.

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): Douglas Joseph Turcotte Jr., 63, of West Haven, died on July 18, 2022, at St. Raphael Hospital. Born in New Haven on March 18, 1959, a son of the (late) Douglas J. and Ruth (Hatfield) Turcotte Sr.
In addition to his beloved mother, Douglas is survived by loving sons Douglas Joseph III, David, Donald, and Daniel Turcotte; grandsons, Douglas Joseph IV (Joey), and Matthew; brothers Daniel, Donald, and David Turcotte, as well as several nephews and nieces.
Douglas worked as a mechanic for the VA Hospital of West Haven for many years. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed attending games at both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field with his son, his friend Steve, along with his son Jason. He sang opera for several years including opera houses across the State of Connecticut, and in New York City. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.
