Gary J. Cole Sr., 58, of West Haven, passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2020. He was the loving husband of Felicita Bonilla Cole. Gary was born in New Haven, son of the late Lawrence and Edie Marchitto Cole. He is also survived by his children, Alicia Colbert and her husband Peter of Hamden and Gary J. Cole Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Wallingford, his grandson Salvador Flores and his brother Pasquale Cole.

He was a machinist by trade. He worked for various companies in the area. Gary played in Little League in West Haven and loved to ride motorcycles. He also looked out for others in need and helped them in any way that he could. In addition, he always donated to local food banks and toy drives around the holidays every year. He loved Christmas and wanted to make sure that everyone had a wonderful holiday. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Lawrence Church.
