Obituary: Giuseppina Bisceglia Routh, 49, Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Giuseppina Bisceglia Routh, 49, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Vincent M. Routh.

Giuseppina was born in New Haven on January 7, 1974, and was the loving daughter of Antonio and Concetta Mastrangelo Bisceglia.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University and had worked as a paralegal for the Law Offices of Yolen & Perzin in New Haven for over 20 years.

Giuseppina was devoted to her family, especially her daughters, who she loved unconditionally. Devoted mother to her three daughters, her twins Emma and Sara, and Nora. Loving sister of Alfonso (Annarita) Bisceglia. Also survived by her nephew Alessio Bisceglia and many family members in Alife, Italy.

Visiting hours were held Friday, July 7 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. John XXIII Parish at St. John Vianney Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven on Saturday morning, July 8 at 10 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
