Obituary: John D. Angeletti, 73; Formerly Of West Haven
John was an alumnus of Notre Dame High School in West Haven. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to many.
WEST HAVEN, CT — (From Porto Funeral Home): John D. Angeletti, 73, of Salem, Ohio, formerly of West Haven, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at his home. He was born August 15, 1949, in New Haven, to the late Segundo John and Elsie (Muzzi) Angeletti.
John was an accountant with Hack, Steer & Company where he recently retired. John was an alumnus of Notre Dame High School in West Haven, class of 1967. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to many.
John was a motorcycle enthusiast, collector of watches and a die-hard sports fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” (Zachary) Melina of Guilford, Meghan (James) Farmer of Madison, one son, David (Ellen Tucci) Angeletti of Bridgeport, WV and four grandchildren, Brooke, Parker, Harvey and Hayden. He was preceded in death by his devoted sister, Frances “Frannie” Angeletti. He will be dearly missed.
