Obituary: John ‘Jack’ Lawler, 69, Of West Haven

Jack, who worked for New Alliance Bank before retirement, was a longtime and active member with the Republican Party in West Haven.

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): Jack Lawler, 69, of West Haven, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2021. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Walter and Virginia Wirtz Lawler. Jack is survived by his siblings, Sharon Lawler and Phillip Lawler, both of Branford, his nieces, Tracey Foster of West Haven, Angela DeGregoria of Ansonia and Laura Frimpter of Branford and his great nieces Erica Foster and Janine Frimpter and great nephews Joseph "G" Giovanni and Dylan Frimpter.

He was predeceased by his longtime partner Robert McCarthy and siblings Marion and David Lawler.

Prior to his retirement, Jack was employed with New Alliance Bank. He was a longtime and active member with the Republican Party in West Haven.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. West Haven Funeral Home at the Green is entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
