Obituary: Judith A. Carter Knecht Alexander, 73, of West Haven

Judy was an active communicant at Our Lady of Victory as a choir member and at St. John Vianney, where she served in the Women's Guild.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Judith A. “Judy” Carter Knecht Alexander, age 73, passed away on July 1, 2020 in Milford. Judy was born in Bridgeport on January 27, 1947, a daughter of the late Clarence & Arline Kline Carter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joel, children Jeffrey (Lisa) Knecht, Elliot Alexander and Rachel Alexander, granddaughter, Kelsey (Russell) Parker, great granddaughter Kelli Anne Parker, siblings Michael (Christine) Carter, Clarence (Janice) Carter III, Shirley (the late Whitney) Kerr and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her sister Eva Arnold and niece Kelli Carter Goulart.

Judy graduated from Harding High School in Bridgeport, and retired from ISC-Bunker Ramo, where she worked in customer service.

Judy was an active communicant at Our Lady of Victory, and was a choir member for many years, at St. John Vianney, where she also served in the Women’s Guild.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court 1808. Judy was a proud and dutiful Catholic.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, July 8, at 12:30PM in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
