Obituary: Kathryn A. Koether, 66, Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (Contributed): Officially she was known as Kathryn A. Koether, but by family and love ones she was our beautiful and fabulous BUBBY or Aunt Bubby. On Thursday, July, 20, 2023, she passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Ellen Koether and her sister, Margaret (Margie) Koether. She is survived by her brother, Patrick Koether & sister-in-law, Patricia Koether of Washington State, her sister, Susan Zippo of Long Island, NY, her nieces and nephew, Kim, Nikki, Kylie, Brian and her great nephew, Andrew. Also, she is survived by longtime wonderful friend Rosario Calvo and her best friend since childhood, Pam Evans Welch.

Bubby resided in West Haven for most of her life.

God called his Angel home where she can be with her Mother and Sister while watching over us. Our beautiful memories of her will be forever cherished.

A viewing was held at Keenan Funeral Home in West Haven, on July 31, 2023. Burial was at St. Lawrence Cemetary, West Haven on August 3, 2023.
