Obituary: Lauren Julia MacDonald, 28; Formerly Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From Porto Funeral Home): Lauren Julia MacDonald, 28, of Hamden, formerly of West Haven, died in her sleep at home on July 14, 2021. Lauren was born in New Haven on Sept. 24, 1992. She leaves behind her heartbroken parents Lance and Lisa Dolceacqua MacDonald of West Haven, devoted big sister to John Lance MacDonald of West Haven and loving pup Karie Sol.

Survived by her grandparents Julia Dolceacqua and the late John Dolceacqua and Mary Louise Beaudoin and the late Charles Beaudoin and her grandfather Mado MacDonald. Lauren leaves behind many aunts and uncles, Yvonne (Lloyd) Adams, Denise (Raymond) Hottin, Tamara (Craig) Martin, David (Julianne) MacDonald, Elizabeth (Chris) Hansen, Catherine (Charlotte) Amias, Heather (Don Mauri) MacDonald, Kara (John) Timek, Jodi Beaudoin and many loving cousins.

Lauren was a 2011 graduate of West Haven High School and at the time of her death currently attending Gateway Community Technical College. She loved reading, music, gaming, traveling, parties and celebrating with family and friends, she will be missed by all who loved her she has left this world far too soon. We would like to thank all of her doctors and clinicians for caring for her.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven TUESDAY evening at 7 p.m. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
