Obituary: Lorraine Comette, 86; Formerly Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (Contributed): In Memory of our sister, Lorraine Comette.

Our sister Lorraine, passed away on July 12, 2022 in Mission, Texas (formerly of West Haven, CT). She was born on July 3, 1936 in New Haven CT and was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Hershman) and Harry Newman.

After graduating from Hillhouse High School, Lorraine went to work for Blue Cross, and was employed there for many years. After retiring, she enjoyed her many trips to the casinos.

She is survived by her husband, William, her son, Steven and three grandsons. Lorraine also leaves behind her loving sisters, Myrna Kampner, Judie (Durk) Hines, Eleanor Silvers and Marcella Newman. She is predeceased by her brother Harold Newman and brothers-in-law Arthur Kampner and Alan Silvers.

Lorraine will always be loved and remembered by all the special people that were a part of her life.
