Obituary: Louis Sacco Jr., 79, of West Haven

Louis was a dedicated, hardworking co-owner of Campbell Auto Electric with the late Curtis Manseau for over 30 years until his retirement.

Louis Sacco Jr., 79, of West Haven, passed away peacefully Saturday December 16th 2017 at Masonicare in Wallingford. Louis was a proud member of the Allingtown Road Winders and served in the U.S. Army reserves from 1960-1966. Louis was a dedicated, hardworking co-owner of Campbell Auto Electric with the late Curtis Manseau for over 30 years until his retirement in 2000. During his retirement you would have found Louis at his rental property in West Walk, his longtime business Campbell Auto Electric, working in the basement with Bill Sapienza or spending time with his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara (Fappiano) Sacco; his son Louie Sacco of West Haven; his daughter Kari (David) Edelen of Fairfield; his sisters Concetta Sacco of West Haven and Rita (Peter) Milone of Hamden; his two grandchildren Louis and Natalia Edelen of Fairfield as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Louis is predeceased by his sister Anna Wargo and parents Louis and Theresa (Monaco) Sacco. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Masonicare Hospice (Hope, Kathy, Arleen, Shelley) and Joanne, Nella and Kenny for their attentive help and care for Louis during his final days.
