It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Louis Spinato, on August 4, 2022. Lou leaves his wife Maurine, daughters Ann (the late Peter) Weiss and Linda (Lou) Marino and two grandchildren Tyler (Elizabeth) Marino and Taylor Weiss.
His father Anthony Spinato, Mother Anna Spinato, and sister Janice Croce predeceases him.
Lou was a passionate man with an incredible devotion to his family. He was always a curious learner and had an array of hobbies and passions including woodworking, golf, photography, and electric vehicles. As a self- taught expert carpenter, he crafted cabinets, tables, benches, and even his son in law’s back deck.

Lou always had an interest for new technology trends even as he got older, his most notable one being electric vehicles. This led him to purchasing one of the first Tesla’s in the state of CT back in 2011, and he made sure to take everyone that he knew for a ride in it. Lou was an excellent golfer that loved to teach others and share tips whether they asked for it or not.
Lou spent the first 10+ years at Orange Hills Country Club before joining Racebrook Country Club where you could find him with his group of golf friends on the course, or in the grillroom sipping on a Madras or crisp glass of pinot grigio.

Racebrook made Lou an honorary member a few years back after his years of dedication and support to the club. Lou retired from Armstrong Rubber Company where he worked as the purchasing agent and took on side projects as a photographer for the company.
