Obituary: Nancy Patricia Rivas, 33, of West Haven

“Today we celebrate the life of Nancy Patricia Rivas. She has unfortunately left her earthly home and has joined the spiritual realm on 06/12/2020. She was born in the Bronx on August 15th, 1986 to her parents Patricia De La Cruz and Virgilio Rafael Rivas.

“Nancy lived in West Haven for most of her life and she loved to dance, spend time with her kids, and she loved to cook and eat really good Spanish food. Nancy was a woman of faith who prayed often and dedicated her life to helping others. She is survived by her five children: Liliana Mercedes Stewart, Nasier Jeremiah Rivas, Essa Raheem Bennett, Ishmael Rivas, and Michael Rafael Gibbs. She leaves behind her two brothers Steven j Rivas and Jeremy Rivas who love her dearly as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.”
