Obituary: Richard A. Gianini Jr., 32, Of West Haven
He touched many lives and was a beautiful soul with a huge heart. His family, friends, and especially his mother were his world.

Richard A. "Ricky" Gianini Jr., 32, of West Haven was born on March 5, 1993 in New Haven to JoAnn (Chris) Camputaro DeFosche of West Haven and Richard A. (Deb) Gianini, Sr. of Oxford. He grew up in Trumbull with JoAnn; her husband, Chris DeFosche; and Ricky's sister, Nicole DeFosche.
He passed away peacefully in his home on June 1, 2025. He is survived by his sister, Ericka Gianini, and his brother, Jay (Alexandra) Gianini. He is predeceased by his sister, Elaina Gianini; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his special cousins, Ray Gianini and Ed Sutcliffe. Ricky leaves behind Deb Gianini's children, Nicole (Matt McCarthy) and Christopher Meredith, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, a plethora of friends, and his special Mamma who took care of him like her own.

At the time of his death, Ricky was employed by American Green Fuels as a chemical operator.
