Obituary: Ricky Ferrara, 60, Of West Haven
Ricky, who worked as a roofer for various construction companies, was a talented carpenter and previously worked in the jewelry industry.
WEST HAVEN, CT — (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home): Ricky Ferrara, 60, of West Haven, died peacefully December 1 at Connecticut Hospice after a long illness.
Born in New Haven December 23, 1962, son of the late Dominic & Rose Vitti Bacon Ferrara, Ricky worked as a roofer for various construction companies. He was a talented carpenter and had previously worked in the Jewelry industry as a diamond cutter.
He is survived by brothers; Dominic (Sandra) Ferrara jr. of Hamden, John Ferrara of N.Y., and James Ferrara of New Haven sisters; Donna Ferrara of Hamden & Dawn (Eugene LaBagnara) Cerasale of Hamden. He was predeceased by a brother Frank and sister Deborah Ferrara.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service THURSDAY, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation (www.liverfoundation.org).
