Obituary: Robert ‘Bob’ Miles Gamble Jr., 68, of West Haven

Robert “Bob” Miles Gamble Jr., 68, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020. Born on November 21, 1951 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Robert Miles and Jane (Smith) Gamble, Sr.

Bob worked for Seaboard Metal Finishing in West Haven as a maintenance supervisor for over 40 years. Robert had a great love for music, collecting records and playing the drums. He had a big heart for animals, especially dogs.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Carey Bednarsky (Daniel) and son, Robert Gamble III and ex-wife, Susan Mollica. Grandchildren include Joseph and Jacob. Brothers and sisters include; Jayne Cianci (Chuck), Richard Gamble (Debbie), Judy Keeler (Robert), William Gamble, Beverly Hayes (Mark), and Timothy Gamble. Bob is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Robert is predeceased by his loving animal companions, Jessie, Annabelle, Buddy, and Sunny.
