Obituary: Rodney P. Vreeland, 57, Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): Rodney P. Vreeland, 57, of West Haven, beloved son of Stanley and Norma Vreeland entered into rest on July 1, 2023.

For 40 years, he was the husband and soulmate of Faith D’Amico Vreeland, who passed away just 3 months ago. In addition to his parents, Rodney leaves his daughter Jasmine (Gary) Sierra, sons Rodney Jr, and Pedro, 3 grandchildren Alek, Alexis and Hailie, 2 brothers Stanley (Lorraine) Jr., and Steven (Chatcha), nieces Christine and Abigail and nephew Stanley III.

At the time of his death, Rodney was a driver for RWS (Residential Waste System). A favorite hobby of his was wood carving but his love for Faith and his entire family superseded all else.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15 at 10 o’clock at St. John Vianney Church, West Haven.
