A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night in West Haven, according to police.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night in West Haven, according to police.
The pedestrian was struck around 8 p.m. on Saw Mill Road near Greta Street, according to police.
Police said the driver left the scene and hasn’t been found yet.

The victim suffered a head injury and was taken to an area hospital for further medical treatment, according to police.
Police said the victim was listed in stable condition with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

“Our patrol division will continue this investigation and more information regarding the suspect vehicle will be provided in the near future,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
