Self-Storage Facility Pitched For Former Restaurant Site In West Haven

A developer has proposed a self-storage facility at the former site of a popular eatery in West Haven.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A developer has proposed a self-storage facility at the former site of Daiko Japanese Restaurant & Jerry-San’s Sushi Bar on Derby Avenue in West Haven, according to the New Haven Register.

The popular eatery closed last month after more than 20 years in business because the landlord was selling the property, the Register previously reported.

The planned self-storage facility, which has been submitted to the Planning and Zoning Department, would be more than 122,000 and would require some reconfiguring, according to the Register.
