WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven City Council is looking to fill a vacancy after Democrat Trenee McGee resigned her seat in the 7th District at Monday night’s meeting, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports McGee said she was resigning to focus on her new role as a state representative and someone new should represent her district on the City Council.
McGee won the special election in December to fill the vacant seat in the state’s 116th House District following the resignation of Michael DiMassa in October.
