Suspects Identified In Dog Burned To Death Case: Police
Police say two suspects have been identified and arrest warrants are being prepared in connection to a dog's gruesome death in West Haven.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Police have identified two suspects in connection to the death of a small dog that was found burned to death late last week in West Haven. The dog, which police say was possibly a 1-year-old "mini Schnauzer" with cropped ears and a cropped tail, was found at the source of a fire that was extinguished in the Sandy Point Beach parking lot on July 5.
“Detectives worked tirelessly reviewing surveillance video, speaking to residents and gathering evidence,” police said in an update Friday afternoon. “One of the suspects was interviewed today and is cooperating with the investigation. As this investigation concludes arrest warrants are anticipated to be prepared and submitted to Milford Superior Court for review.
“West Haven Police would like to thank the community for their support, compassion and cooperation.”
