U.S. Army Specialist Surprises Sister At School In West Haven
A sixth-grade student received a special surprise on Monday.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A sixth-grade student at Carrigan Middle School in West Haven received a surprise visit from her brother who is on leave with the U.S. Army.
U.S. Army Specialist John Dymarcik stopped by Carrigan on Monday to surprise his younger sister, Ava Alonso, according to a post on the West Haven Public Schools Facebook page.
The entire cafeteria “erupted in a spontaneous chant of USA! USA!,” shortly after he was introduced, according to the post.
