WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven's open houses this weekend range from a small house near the shore at $199,900 to three townhouses in the gated Oronoque Forest community. A new home in Shingle Hill Estates, a 55-and-older community of 16 homes, and a West Shore house with two kitchens round out the list.

Eight West Haven homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $199,900 to $629,900, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10

77 Jones Hill Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $459,999. Listed Oct. 6, this West Shore house has two kitchens, two living rooms and a private lower-level entrance for an in-law or guest setup, plus a home office. The fenced, tiered backyard has a large deck and two patios, and there's a circular driveway. It's a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,272 square feet.

Make a weekend of it: Saturday morning, see Jones Hill Road and Robart Street, then walk toward the beach from Laurel Street. On Sunday, Oronoque Forest's three townhouses are within a single gate from noon on, and Shingle Hill Estates stays open until 4.
