Victim Identified In Fatal Motorcycle Crash: West Haven Police

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Police have identified the victim of Sunday afternoon’s fatal motorcycle crash as Pasquale H. Marchitto Jr., 51, of West Haven.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of this gentleman,” police said in a post on Facebook Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the area of Campbell Avenue and Blohm Street on Sunday afternoon for the crash. Both the driver of the motorcycle, Marchitto, and the passenger were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Marchitto died from his injuries, police said.

There was no immediate update on the condition of the passenger.
