Water Main Break Damages Road, Floods Homes In West Haven: Report

Crews used plows to make a wall of snow to prevent flooding to driveways and basements as part of the response, according to a report.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A road was damaged and the basements of several homes were flooded after a water main break early Wednesday morning in West Haven, according to WFSB 3.

WFSB reports crews responded around 4:40 a.m. to a water main break on Honor Road that also affected homes on Colonial Boulevard.

Officials said the Public Works Department used plows to make a wall of snow to prevent flooding to driveways and basements as part of the response, according to WFSB 3.
