West Haven Beach Parking Lots To Close At Sunset, Police Say

WEST HAVEN, CT — All West Haven beach parking lots will be closed at sunset, effective immediately, police said in a post on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon.

“West Haven Police Officers will be down on the shoreline actively enforcing these closures,” police wrote in the post. “We ask all visitors to plan accordingly and comply with posted regulations.

“Unruly behavior will not be tolerated now and all summer long.

“Your cooperation helps ensure the safety and enjoyment of our shoreline for everyone.

“Thank you.”
