West Haven Coronavirus Update: Boardwalk Closed Indefinitely
The city has closed the beach walk, also known as the boardwalk to help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, officials announced.

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven has closed the beach walk until further notice in response to Gov. Ned Lamont’s executive order restricting social and recreational gatherings to no more than five people, officials announced Monday.
Health Director Maureen B. Lillis said the city has closed the 1.5-mile walkway, also known as the boardwalk, to discourage the spread of the new coronavirus.
The beach walk stretches from Bradley Point to Sandy Point.
