West Haven Coronavirus Updates: Police In Need Of Donations
Police are asking for help with donations of personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies.
WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Police Department is asking area groups and/or businesses for donations of personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies.
“We would greatly appreciate any PPE type equipment (Tyvek suits, Protective face mask, N95 masks, or Surgical masks), rubber gloves, disinfectants gels, disinfectant wipes (Lysol/Clorox) or sprays as well as hand cleaner,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Currently the supply chain for these items is backed up and we are unable to restock in a timely manner.
“These items are to be utilized for our front line patrol cars to assist in keeping both the public and our Officer safe and healthy.”
