West Haven Doctor Disciplined By State Board: Report
The state Medical Examining Board has fined four doctors for various incidents.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven doctor was among four doctors in the state to be disciplined by the state Medical Examining Board this week, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Kate Farrish of the I-Team reports Dr. Elvin L. Griffith was fined $1,000 and reprimanded for “failing to address a patient’s weight loss and substance abuse in 2016.”
Griffith didn’t contest the allegations and admitted no wrongdoing, according to Farrish.
