No.

I am a resident of West Haven and a property owner here. I would like to see West Haven develop to its fullest potential.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is a lack of economic development. I believe that one answer to this is to attract businesses to West Haven by offering incentives in order to generate tax revenue.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am not a politician. I am a Registered Nurse and President of the Nurses Union for the West Haven Board of Education. I have 18 years of advocacy experience and plan to use this experience to serve the residents of West Haven.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I plan to address economic development, education, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and governmental transparency.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have been a registered nurse in good standing for the past 18 years. My professional background includes Head Nurse for the Department of Developmental Services, Intensive Nurse Case Manager for Community Health Network of CT and RN in pediatric psychiatry for Yale and the Institute of Living. I've worked in the field of correctional managed health care for UCONN Health Center (now known as the Department of Corrections, State of CT). Outside of my role as correctional nurse, I voluntarily served as Clinical Nurse Educator, BLS instructor and collaborated in the development of policies and procedures for UCONN Health Center. I have devoted my entire career to patient advocacy seeking to serve an underserved population. I received the Unsung Hero Award in 2021 for the work that I did in serving teachers, staff and parents during the covid crisis. I currently serve as the President of the Nurse's Union for the West Haven Board of Education.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

The best advice that anyone has ever given me is to listen more than you speak.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am driven by a sense of personal integrity and a passion for serving others. I am a natural peacemaker who instinctively understands the value of listening to divergent points of view in creating meaningful and workable solutions.
