West Haven Firefighters Quickly Douse House Fire
Flames were reportedly shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived at the scene.
WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire on Highland Avenue on Thursday morning… and got a shout out from the police department.
“A little sibling rivalry put aside today. Hats off to our Fire Departments for quickly handling a house fire on Highland Avenue this morning,” police posted on Facebook.
Flames were shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived at the scene, NBC Connecticut reports.

There was one resident home at the time and no injuries were reported, according to NBC.
