West Haven Hockey Team To Co-Op With 3 Other Schools This Season
West Haven, which won seven CIAC state championships between 1949 and 1994, will co-op with three other schools for the 2022-23 season.
WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven High School’s storied hockey program will be a co-operative with three other schools this winter, according to officials.
Players from Oxford, Seymour and Shelton will be able to join West Haven’s team for the 2022-23 winter season.
West Haven received confirmation to co-op from the CIAC this week, according to a post on the school district’s website. The 2022-23 schedule hasn’t been finalized yet. The season runs from December through March.

The Blue Devils won seven CIAC championships between 1949 and 1994, the second-most behind only Hamden at the time, according to the school’s website. Fairfield Prep and Notre Dame-West Haven have since surpassed them.
