WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Little League will celebrate its 75th anniversary during its Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday, April 25. The free event will take place at the league's fields at Morse Park, 19 Morse Avenue, which features the recently <a href="https://patch.com/connecticut/westhaven/west-haven-announces-major-partnership-improve-baseball-fields-host" target="_blank">updated and transformed</a> West Haven Little League fields and Edward R. Warley Field. The celebration is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. with the gates opening at 9:30 a.m. "Attendees can expect a fun filled day with gift baskets, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, food, vendors, games and plenty of community spirit!" according to a post on the league's Facebook page. "There will be something for everyone." Games are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with raffles taking place at 12 noon.
