West Haven Makes Decision On School Friday

WEST HAVEN, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students.

West Haven Public Schools posted: "Due to the storm, there will be no school on January 5th."

Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
