West Haven Makes Decision On School For Wednesday

West Haven Public Schools will have early dismissal on Wednesday, March 21. SAT testing and other class activities will go on as planned at West Haven High School, except for extended time testing, officials announced. Students testing with extended time will now test April 24.

A nor'easter is expected to bring up to a foot of snow to the area today. The snow should be at its heaviest this afternoon and evening before it tapers off around midnight.

This is the fourth straight nor'easter Connecticut has seen over the past month. Power outages are expected to be less of a concern this time because while winds may gust to 30-35 mph at times, it won't approach the strength of previous storms.
