“Fentanyl and other illegal substances were located on the bed where the defendant was found,” officials wrote in the news release. “A further search of the bedroom closet turned up a firearm in a backpack with some identifying information belonging to the defendant. A bag of ammunition matching the caliber of the firearm was also located in a different area of the closet. Due to a previous felony conviction, the defendant was prohibited from possessing a firearm.”
