West Haven Election 2017 Results: Vote Totals For All Races
Residents voted on several local positions in Tuesday's municipal election. Here are the full vote totals for all races.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Democrat Nancy Rossi won West Haven's hotly contest race for mayor, defeating two-term incumbent Ed O'Brien and Republican David Riccio. Rossi, who will become the city's first female mayor, received 4,825 votes, while O'Brien had 3,265 and Riccio received 2,563. Stephanie Rose Figuenick received four write-in votes.
In the race for City Clerk, Democrat Deborah Collins defeated Republican Sergio Hruszko 6,953 to 2,542. Democrat Michael P. Last defeated Republican Michael Brand for treasurer by a 6,196 to 2,865 vote. Democrat Dorothy Chambrelli defeated Republican Clorinda Wrzosek by a vote of 6,371 to 2,837.
Democrat Rosemary Russo was the top vote-getter for Board of Education with 6,073 votes and was followed by Democrat James W. Morrissey with 5,985 votes, Democrat Lauren Aceto with 5,629 votes, Republican Rosa Richardson with 3,497 votes, Republican Barry Lee Cohen with 3,165 votes, and Republican Dennis P Gamester with 2,800 votes.

For Board of Assessment Appeals residents were asked to vote for any two and Democrat Richard Standish was the top vote-getter with 5,879 votes and was followed by Democrat Joseph Palmucci with 5,683 votes, Republican Ralph Biondi with 3,273 votes and Republican Edward M. Voss Jr. with 3,005 votes.
Democrat Ronald Quagliani was the top vote-getter in the race for Council At-Large with 6,478 votes and was followed by Democrat David Forsyth with 5,421 votes, Republican Richard DePalma with 2,905 votes, Republican Jim Donegan with 2,814 votes and Petitioning Candidate Stephen DeCrescenzo with 762 votes.

In the district council races, Democrat Bridgette J. Hoskie defeated Republican Darryl Cummings by a vote of 498 to 239 in District 1. In District 2, Democrat Nicholas Ruickoldt defeated Lynne Schlosser by a 694 to 357 vote. Democrat Aaron Charney won the District 3 race, defeating Republican Victoria Clifford by a 499 to 355 vote. In District 4, Democrat Mitchell Gallignano defeated Republican Peter J. Davis by a 402 to 180 vote.
In District 5, Democrat Robbin Hamilton defeated Republican Carlos Alvarado by a vote of 472 to 96. Democrat Peter V. Massaro defeated Republican Larry Konareski 551 to 176 in District 6. Democrat Portia Bias won the District 7 race by a 464 to 112 vote over Republican Peter A. Sotere. In District 8, Democrat Tracy Morrissey defeated Write-In Candidate Silvana Apicella by a vote of 973 to 183.
Democrat Sean P. Ronan won the District 9 race by a 901 to 601 vote over Republican Kathie Goldsmith-Hawtin. In District 10, Democrat Louise Martone defeated Republican Jason Szerszen by a vote of 851 to 496.
