West Haven Police Break Up Large Party, Have Objects Thrown at Them: PD
Two were charged after police say they were interfered with while breaking up a large party that included nearly 200 people in the street.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Several objects, including a large glass bottle, were thrown at West Haven Police officers while they were attempting to break up a loud party late Saturday night.
Officers responded to 12 Westfield Street at about 11:45 p.m. on June 4 after receiving numerous calls about a loud party at the residence.
Police said arriving officers located approximately 200 people in the street along the lower blocks of Westfield Street.

Additional units arrived to clear the street and officers went to 12 Westfield and attempted to make contact with a resident, according to police.
Once at the residence, officers were confronted with 20 to 30 people in the yard and loud music was coming from within the house.

Police said several people were hanging off a second-floor porch and yelling at the officers.
At one point objects, including a large glass bottle, were thrown at police and additional units had to be called to the scene.
Police arrested Ysaan Frazier 22, of Lodge Street in New Haven, on a charge of breach of peace.
Danielle Jordan Perkins 20, of Westfield Street in West Haven, was also arrested and charged with breach of peace and interfering with police.
