West Haven Public Schools To Be Closed Friday, Jan. 7

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 7 due to the anticipated snowstorm, Superintendent of Schools Neil C. Cavallaro announced Thursday afternoon.

“I also want to take this opportunity to thank our staff, students, and families for their cooperation this week,” Cavallaro wrote in a message to the school community. “With the rising number of COVID cases occurring throughout the State, and changing guidelines regarding the virus, you did an amazing job of adhering to the rules and doing everything within your power to keep our entire community safe.

“Enjoy the long weekend and continue to take the proper precautions to guard against COVID-19. I’ll look forward to seeing you on Monday!”
