West Haven Resident Named GNAC Player Of The Week
The West Haven resident has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, officials announced.
WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven resident Marcus Burrows, a sophomore on the Albertus Magnus College men’s lacrosse team, was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 2-0 week.
Teammate Cooper Strecker (of Chester) was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.
Burrows scored seven goals in the Falcons’ 13-12 victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.) 13-12 last Tuesday. On Saturday, he scored three goals and had three assists in a 22-1 win over Elms.
