West Haven Senior Center Sets Katharine Hepburn Museum Trip

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Senior Center will offer a minibus trip to the Katharine Hepburn Museum in Old Saybrook on May 24.

The one-hour docent-led tour will feature some of Hepburn’s personal wardrobe pieces, her 1975 Primetime Emmy Award, and photos from her life and career.

The trip will include lunch at Penny Lane Pub in Old Saybrook, followed by a stop at Bishop’s Orchards in Guilford.

The trip costs $140 and includes a $5 donation to the museum, gratuities, transportation and lunch with a meal choice. Payment is due April 14.

The bus will depart at 9 a.m. from the Veterans Memorial Park parking lot at 91 Bull Hill Lane, the former Nike site, and will leave at 3:30 p.m. from Bishop’s.
